Fruit consumption is very healthy for children, employment in the fruit industry, however, is not. School is a much better place for them. Although child labour isnt widespread in the fruit industry, Masr Fruit wants to be certain children are not involved in the process and that farmers receive fair compensation for their work. We work thru our own social responsibility foundation masrfruit Foundation to prevent child work and helping farmers who works in our organisation to develop and maintain sustainability for the future.
